I am originally from New Zealand but have studied in the States for the past four years. I maintained a GPA of 3.94 throughout my undergraduate degree while competing as a colligate athlete, working and being involved in extensive extracurricular activities.
However, it wasn’t always this way!!
My high school experience was very different! It was incredibly disrupted as I moved around frequently, and had a lot of difficulties understanding topics especially science without help!
Things changed when I started getting one on one help from my teachers, I couldn’t believe what a world of a difference some quality time, better explanations and working with someone who didn’t make me feel stupid could do! I want to continue to help students of all ages and levels. I am passionate about providing tutoring that helps students feel confident in themselves and their abilities. My goal is to make studies simple by breaking down the concepts to suit the needs of each student.

Rachel was a vital resource while I was taking college biology. She always made herself available to help with reviewing or with study tips. She would always contact me, just to make sure I was doing well in my studies and offering her help in any way possible.
I have seen her work with people of all ages ranging from younger children to college-level students. Rachel is a great tutor and I would highly recommend her to anyone needing science help.

Rachel is a wonderful tutor in the sciences! I would have never made it through chemistry without her. She is so kind when correcting your mistakes and always willing to explain concepts in different ways to ensure you understand the topic. She is eager to learn more and be an expert on the topic she is teaching. Thank you, Rachel, for an awesome tutoring experience.
